May you please post a list of common medications you give to patients on the floor. I want to research medications in advance to save myself some time.

Also, please provide some treatments or tasks I will need to complete so that I can research in advance the procedures. I am a new grad RN hired to a subacute/ltc facility.

Specializes in retired LTC.

Depending on facility P&P, there's also GT and suprapubic reinsertions.

And not done very often, but I have done NG insertions in LTC/NH. The pt then usually goes out.

Glucometer monitoring.
