As a brand new out of school nurse I recieved two days orientation on meds and that was it ! Now they frequently put me on the desk as charge and have had no training ! I am a very hard worker and like to feel as though I have done a good job at the end of the day but I have to say most days I feel incompetant . donmomofnine you are absoloutely right this facility has huge turnover and I think it directly correlates with the lack of training or assistance. It really is a shame.
