How hard is it to find a job

Hi, First semester LPN student here. I was wondering, how hard is/was it for you to find a job as an LPN/LVN? Any responses from the Midwest, Minnesota specifically, would be greatly appreciated.

What part of Minnesota are you from?? I live in the southwest corner, very near South Dakota border and lots of jobs down here!! I work part time in 3 different places and could work full time in 2 of them if I wanted to.

Default I live
in the twin cities metro area. So, there should be plenty of job opportunities, one would think. However, in the Star Tribune there are always tons of RN positions and maybe 2-3 comuns of LPN. However, I know of some people who just call around to places to see if they are hiring because it seems they don't always post positions in the newspapers.
