How much does any LPN who works in upstate New York make an hour working in a nursing home passing meds?

Work agency in San Antonio, TX - steady rate per hour is $23 - however I could make up to $29 if I was willing to commute an hour. Right now - at an inner city hospital - Tele and step down and acute med/surg - make 22 an hour -no benifits on any of this - but the pay is good. Make more than staff RN's in many of these areas.

I'm in NYC, currently working as a CNA instructor and making $25/hr with benefits. I also work PT for an Urgent Care Clinic @ 20.25/hr... need to keep those skills up;)

I'm still in the Phils earning my credits. Anyway, is the rate good enough, barely respectable? or it's not worth it?

I work at a facility that the LPNs make $21.75 an hour and a $3.00 shift diff for evenings and nights. We also have a baylor program where you work 24 hours and get paid for 40 hours every weekend 12 hour shifts. That comes to 33.50 per hour

I, too, am amazed at what the pittance they pay some of you. We have lower pay here in the very NW corner of WA state than they do in Seattle.
My wife was at $16.00 as a new grad LPN in an out pt surgery center. no weekends and almost always off on time, very occasional overtime, ok bennies.
LTC here is about 14-15 for new grad LPN's. I expect to get 15-16 if I stay local and towards 20 if I go to the greater seattle are (about 1-1.5hrs)
Here new grad RN's start at about 22+ and about another 5 bucks for Seattle.
What area is this in? You give no indication of where you are.

Down here in sunny florida new LPN's are making 10.00-12.00 hr. in acute care facilities and 15.00-18.00 hr. in LTC facilities without the shift diffs and bonuses.

Our starting rate for a brand new LPN is $19.00/hr....automatic $.35 at 3 months and 6 months with more for years of experience. The RNs start at 21.50.
My first job as an RN in a SNF, and it was the highest paying place for 50 miles....$8/hr, but then again it was 1982.
