by Brigid

I am trying to locate any statistics or research regarding injuries sustained by elderly people from lifting and handling techniques in the care home industry .
Can anyone help please?

First thought I had is to talk to a Physical Therapist! They know much about this issue and are a great source of info! Plus, I don't know too many PT's that won't adore a ear bent in their direction, since what they know is very very important and not listened to as much as it should be .

I think they would be an excellent source of info for you!

Good luck...
