Does anyone have any innovative ideas for rehab nursing models of care.

Dear everyone
I am a nurse practice coordinator of a rehabilitation unit in Australia. I would appreciate hearing any innovative models of nursing care for rehab patients. Also any ideas re innovative shift start/ stop times to maximise staffing levels and staff satisfaction.
It is becoming harder and harder to stretch the health dollar and we need to look after our precious staff and of course our patients.
Thank you very much.
Aussie Nurse!!
