Black scrubs

    In my experience, yes. I worked on a locked ward that was the oldest hall in our facility and the lighting was terrible. Nobody that is scared and disoriented responded well to dark colors, white and light pink scrubs were received well.

    I think that if you were in good lighting it might not be a problem. I have worked in black scrubs and not had an effect on the residents. On the other hand why wear them it you think it's a problem?

    You have to think in their terms. Most of them are elderly and think a nurse is in white with a cap. In my experience they respond better to lighter color tops. Black pants are OK when paired with a light top.

    Not always, I'm a 6'3" 220lb male, put me in all whites around confused patients and all they see is an old school mental hospital orderly.
