AACN doesn't have one for ger, just aspects of critical care, at least that I saw.
Thanks for the website. The AACN is true to name as only for critical care nursing. The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) does have board certifications for areas other than critical care such as: ambulatory care, Nurse Informatics, and Nurse Executive, etc.
Here is the link for the ANCC board certification for Gerontological Nursing:
2008-2009 Testing Information eligibility criteria
> Hold a current, active RN license within a state or territory of the United States or the professional,
legally recognized equivalent in another country
> Have practiced the equivalent of two years full time as a registered nurse
> Have a minimum of 2,000 hours of clinical practice in gerontological nursing within the last three years
> Have completed 30 hours of continuing education in gerontological nursing within the last three years
