Register Today!- Aug 10, '12 by CallieNMQuote from MiMi22Hi Mimi! It's so good to see some more people applying for the program! I was beginning to wonder if it was just us 2! Haha!I have applied for Spring 2013 LPN program. Took the TEAS for the first time today. I got 81.3!!!!!! My GPA is 3.9! Lots of work to get this far!!!! I am so excited!
You have great scores! Is your 3.9 gpa for the program or overall?! I'm just curious because I have a 3.81 and I have a&p 1 & 2 (plus labs) and the other 3 required courses. I'm wondering if maybe I did my math wrong? I have all As and 1 B.
Keep in touch and bring more people to our post if you know anyone!! - Aug 10, '12 by MiMi22I went on to Banner and went to the point where it has calculated the GPA for the program. You took the harder A&P and you should get extra points for that (if I were the Boss of the World you would.)
My situation is a little different, I have only had to take A&P and the computer class because all my credits from my last attempt in school have been accepted. I also took the exemption test for Medical Terminology. So I just have Diet and Nutrition left. I feel confident now that I will be accepted, and all I have to do is hang on for a year!
BTW, did you take A&P at the Canton Campus? There was a girl in my class named Callie. - Aug 10, '12 by MiMi221:36 am by lnicole35
Are you taking Diet & Nutrition this semester also?
Yes. I can't remember off hand which class, but I know it's not one of those un-godly early ones! I would really prefer to take it online if I could.Last edit by MiMi22 on Aug 10, '12 - Aug 10, '12 by CallieNMQuote from MiMi22Haha... Yup I did. I had mr Cawley for both a and p 1 and 2. I am looking forward to starting class again. I just don't know how to act anymore without books stacked around me! - Aug 11, '12 by CallieNMQuote from MiMi22Oh okay =) I was excited that maybe someone I knew from his class was here. I had lots of fun in that class lol!I didn't have that teacher. You took the more difficult A&P.

Anyways, lnicole and I are taking nutrition and diet this semester at the North Metro campus. I did not see any online classes available when I signed up... so IDK if you can. Our class is at 10:30 am on Weds.
I'm pretty excited for class to start soon. I'm a stay at home mom and I can't seem to keep myself occupied enough to keep my mind off of waiting for our acceptance letters!! I hope we get some more people in here because it all gives us a perspective of where we stand with others who are applying since the school won't tell us. lol - Aug 11, '12 by MiMi22Quote from CallieNMIf you look on the information that you got after taking the TEAS, it has some numbers giving statistical information. There is a number next to "mean - program." Mine says 56.0%. That means that the average grade of people taking the TEAS for CTC LPN program is a 56. It also gives you a number next to "Percentile Rank - Program" which will give you your ranking among those in our program. I feel pretty confident that I will get in based on my TEAS score and grades.I hope we get some more people in here because it all gives us a perspective of where we stand with others who are applying since the school won't tell us. lolCallieNM likes this.
- Aug 11, '12 by CallieNMThat is great! I am pretty confident too. I mean I have my moments, that something is going to go wrong, but most of the time- I keep my eye on the prize!!
What city are you from Mimi? -

I can't remember where I saw it, but there is a link for people selling books from CTC. Do you know where it is? It wasn't on the school website, but it seems I somehow linked from it.
