    I attended one of their Information Sessions and it was announced there. Those that are in the ASN program now and those that will be starting in the fall are ok. They will finish as normal and wont be affected. It has nothing to do with the consolidation. Pbco you are correct in saying that employers favor BSN.

    You said it! It's been hard to not pay the department a visit every week... and bake them cookies. ;-) Seriously, I make a conscious effort to bypass the elevator and just head to the parking deck.

    Anyone hear of letters going out in May? I was waitlisted and got my the middle of May with a 3.9 gpa and a 79.8 TEAS. I just finished my first year at North GA. I actually have a moment in time to do whatever I want...sort of...I have 14 chapters to read this summer for Fall! Good luck, all! I know the waiting game is the absolute worst to endure! What will be, will be. Always remember that!

    They haven't been sent out yet. The department is busy with the consolidation. The department told us they don't have an ETA for when they will go out. Last time I spoke with them two weeks ago, I was told sometime in May. With only a few days left in the month hopefully we will hear something soon. The wait is absolutely the worst!!!

    How was your first year? Will you be bridging and getting your BSN?

    Hey everyone! Someone who actually spoke with someone in the nursing department at University of North GA confirmed that they are phasing out the ASN program. If you search for "UNG" on here you'll be able to find it! They will be phasing the program out after this fall, so everyone who is already in the program or is starting this fall will be okay!
