    Hi Everyone, this is my first time applying to the program. I received my letter today and it showed that I was wait listed as well. After reading all of your post, I emailed the nursing department to see if they are able to tell me where I stand on the list. Out of curriosity, how many times have you all applied to get into the program? I have actually completed all my courses for my ASN except for the nursing courses. My GPA is a 3.53.

    Hi dedean, This is the first time I've applied. By time fall comes, I'll have all my classes done also, except for the nursing ones. Well no, I still may need Global Issues, but I am going to try to take it this summer.

    That is awesome ycummings. I am taking my bachelorette classes now while I wait. I only have 5 classes left to finish the cores for it. I am so hoping that we get in! I have worked so hard, as I am sure everyone has, it is like the wind being taken from my sails.

    hey Dedean! this is my second time applying and both times i've been waitlisted. but this time, i am able to finish my sciences, except for Med. Micro. which i am taking this semester, along with Sociology. come Fall, all i need to finish are a handful of BSN core courses and nursing courses (after i get accepted).

    i'm also at the top of the top block of the list. 3.06 GPA, 79 TEAS (i checked it again), and an A & B in AP 1 & 2, respectively. previous Bachelors in Computer Science a lifetime ago. i want to be a nurse!

    Wow! I am so ready to start this next journey. I have been working as a V.P. of Technical Operations in a company that sells and installs computer equipment into hospitals and Dr offices. I so hope that I am in the top as well, just very nervous about the whole process. This will be my second semester at UNG. I completed all my other classes at CTC.

    Hi dedean,

    I was waited listed again this year. This is my second time applying to the program. They will send acceptance letters all the way out until August. I have completed all courses for the ASN and mostly all for the BSN (not exactly sure bc that part hasn't been evaluated). I have a BS in Biology so not so sure if I will need to take additional classes for my BSN. All I need are the nursing courses.

    My GPA is a 3.00 and 77% TEAS.

    You can call the department in the morning to check. I've met someone last semester who got off the waitlist the 2nd time with a 2.98 GPA, 83 TEAS, plus around 4 Sciences with A's and B's.

    Yeah still trying to stay positive since we were wait listed last year! The agony of waiting again is what's the hardest.

    Hi there,

    I'm new to this blog but I would like to say Hi and get some more information about the "wait-list" letter I received today from North GA University. My GPA is 4.00 and TEAS score 76%. I'm taking now Micro and so far still in the A, which I'm hoping to finish with.
    Could you please explain me whats all about this wait-listed status? Should I still hope or forget about admission in the nursing program for this year? The letter did say that they are still sending letters of acceptance until Augsut 15 in case there will be open spots, but how will I know what are my chances?
