So I am trying to get into gwinnett techs fall of 2013 class and i just wanted to start a forum for us to support each other and for info. I still have a couple pre reqs to take but im hoping to do well! Good luck everyone

Looking at the curriculum for the comp 1000 course, I've decided to take the exemption exam tomorrow, myself. Was it as basic as the course appears?

Stoopkid, let us know how that goes. I need to CLEP that as well. I have a review book but I haven't looked at it yet.

I took the exemption exam three weeks ago. Just go through the ribbons at the top of microsoft word, PowerPoint, access and excel and you will be fine. You will have 60 multiple questions most of which will come from word and excel. About 3 questions from Powerpoint and a couple from access. You will have an excel project in addition to the multiple choice questions. You just need to know how to create formulas for additions and subtractions. You will also need to know how to copy formulas and apply them in other fields. Some baic staff. You need 80% to pass.

Thanks for the tips. Depending on how the Excel person grades my excel project is whether I pass or not but I made a 90% on the exam portion so I should have a adequate amount of cushion.

Curious if anyone here has their A&P2 lecture notes?

Hey, I am gunning for 2014 and was wondering is you might be able to meet with me? I am pretty flexible with times. Please let me know! God bless and thanks for the help!

Can you give details of how expensive it is per semester????

I took the test last week-made a 89. The math was very easy, especially since you can use a calculator. I don't think there's really any way to study for the English part. I agree that the science was very specific-much more difficult than I was expecting. It was definitely the hardest section.

I know that I am a year behind this thread, but he did very well. What are the names of the guides you used? What parts particulalry in these books did you work with? I am taking my Kaplan at Brenau tomorrow and am doing so to see how it is before going into the GTC test in March. Super Nervous! :bookworm:
