Yep, now we just play the waiting game. Great score on Kaplan btw!

good luck to everyone!! hate this waiting!

Hi. I took the Kaplan on March 28 and can share some information that I learned. As many already know, the Kaplan score is added to your GPA score which is calculated using a simple formula.

4.0 GPA = 100 points

3.9 GPA = 99 points

3.65 GPA = 96.5 points

etc.

That score is added to your Kaplan to determine your total score.

For example, in my case I have a 3.86 GPA and scored 87 on the Kaplan:

( 3.86 GPA + 87 Kaplan = 98.6 + 87 = 185.6 )

Last year, I believe a total score of 170 was enough to get accepted. For 2013 I was told that a score above 175 would "almost guarantee" acceptance and that a score of 170 or more would "likely" be enough to get accepted. Since it is a comparitive pool, those numbers will change based on the scores achieved within the pool.

For 2013, the highest Kaplan score has been 192 with five students scoring in the 90's, and "about thirty" scoring in the 80's. Those figures do not include the people that tested on March 28, the final day of testing.

Good luck to everyone!!!

That is a lot of great information Acanthuras, thanks!

Congrats on your score!

With a 3.67 GPA and an 84 in the Kaplan's my score would be 175.75. I hope it is enough! It seems that this year the Kaplan scores were a lot higher than last year.

Fyi i took my test on Friday the 29th so that was the last day to take the test :)

Good luck to you even though I'm sure you are already in the program ;)
