Took the HESI A2(Middle Ga State College)

U.S.A. Georgia

Published

On Feb 5th, I finally dove down to Middle Ga State College(Warner Robin Campus) and finally took the test. Although I'm glad it's over, I'm actually QUITE nervous about my result and if they'll be good enough to get into the ASN program:( (I'm praying God works in my favor on this one!). Here are my results:

Overall score: 83.50%

a)Math: 78%

b)Reading Comp.: 86%

c)Grammar: 86%

d)Vocabulary 84%

Critical Thinking Composite: 870

Overall GPA: 2.98

Middle Ga requires a mimimum score of at least a 75% per section (although the higher your score, the better.) On Evolve, the recommend that the scores for each section be at 80% and the Critical Thinking be at 900. In need of some encouragement and advice from those took the test or those who are already in the program. Also if you've already taken the test and are waiting for a reponse from he school (like myself), please share our scores! :)

I took my HESI exam on the 6th and I thought it to be rather easy(I actually didn't even study for it til the night before). I only applied for the Fall BSN program, I wish I knew you could apply to both:down:. The nursing adviser told me I shouldn't have a problem getting in because both my core and nursing gpa were higher then the minimum:D. I'm just praying that she is right, I believe letters are suppose to go out by the end of March. They said 4-6 weeks after the closing of the application period. If all else fails I have a plan-B but I really want to get my Bachelors and get it over with. Good Luck!!

OVERALL 87%

GPA 3.68

CRITICAL THINKING 970

That's really good!!!! I think you're set for the BSN program. You critical thinking scores and gpa are amazing!!! Now you have me really nervous about my chances of getting in. :(

Nonetheless, Good luck to you!:)

I took it also, but I'm applying for the ASN. I hope letters do go out in March! I applied for this spring (didn't get in, obviously) and they "said" letters would go out in early November, but I didn't get mine until mid-December.

Waiting for my letter as well! Best of luck to you! :)

I took my test on the 15th of February.. my acceptance status is provisional until I finish this semester so I m not

sure when I'll get a letter: / but I didn't find the test too bad I guess.. I got a 91.5% over all and my GPA is a 3.68, but o made a n 840 on the critical thinking

GeishaHandsom:Nice gpa & HESI scores. Are you applying to the ASN or BSN program?
