I'm also thinking about applying but I'll have two pre-req's in progress for Spring and one to complete over the Summer. Because of that, I wonder if I'll be competitive enough for the Athens campus?

I think the Athens location is the most competitive. I am not sure if they consider how many pre-req's you have left to complete. If you call *** she will answer all your questions. I have spoken to her several times about admissions questions.

I took Survey of Chemistry 1 and 2 at Georgia Perimeter College. The first Chemistry was like a general chemistry class. The second chemistry class was mostly organic chemistry. Again, you can always call or email **** at MCG (which becomes Georgia Health Sciences University on 1 Feb). She can make sure you are taking the correct chemistry.

Thanks @ sharzaejones. How did you find the chemistry classes? was it as challenging as A & P?

I am so anxious of the GRE because of the analogies and antonyms, the words are out of this world. How have you been preparing since you take your exam this month? Do you know if the MAT is more manageable? Are you applying to any other school apart from MCG?

I got an A in Chemistry 1 and 2 (including both labs). I thought A&P was harder than chemistry (that is only MY opinion). Yes, I am very nervous about taking the GRE. I took a prep-course through Kaplan and I have been studying vocabulary words daily. MCG takes your highest GRE score....if I dont do well on the 27th, I will register to take it again in December...and January (you can take it once per month). I do not know much about the MAT. A friend of mine took it last year and she didnt like it....I am also applying to the University of West Georgia. I still need to take the TEAS....I will probably apply to some other schools too...not sure which ones yet. When are you taking the GRE? Are you applying to other schools too?

Hi sharzaejones.For odd reason am just nervous about chemistry. I hope to do great in it when I take it next qtr. I plan to take the gre next month. I need to take Teas as well and I will probably apply to kennesaw state, ga highlands and chattahoochee tech for associates program. I just want to keep options open. So much to do!!!! Can't wait to finish all my prereqs
