KSU accelerated RN program Spring 2012

U.S.A. Georgia

Ok, so I've kind of looked around the site, but I can't find what I'm looking for. I applied to the KSU accelerated nursing program for the Spring of 2012. Our applications, TEAS score, etc. already had to be turned in by May 31st. I was curious to know about how long they take to get back to you to let you know if you made it to the second round. I've got a 3.2 GPA right now, and I graduate from UGA in December with a BS in Psychology. I made a 91.3% overall score on the TEAS V. Does anyone have any idea about my chances of getting in? I took the TEAS without even taking A&P at all, but I'm taking it right now. Any advice if I do make it to the second round? I am CPR/First Aid certified and I have my CNA. Also, if anybody needs any advice about the TEAS, I'd be happy to answer some questions and tell you what I thought of it.

Thanks!

I havent heard anything yet.. I am soooo nervous! this wait is terrible!

I know exactly what you mean. It's driving me crazy. Do we get emails too? Or just a letter in the mail?

Anyone hear back yet? Oh my, as nice as this forum is, its going to be bad for me b/c I know I'm going to be checking in everyday until I get my letter ^.^;

Nothing yet here! I can't stand the wait.

I just called and was told the interview letters have not gone out yet but should be mailed out soon!!!!!

Thank you for the update! :)

Hi yall,

Letters have been sent out, I just got one. They didn't send an email, just USPS.

Just got rejected again. So I have gotten in for MSW at USC California. It just boggles my mind I was not smart enough for nursing but had the grades to get a Masters instead. Go figure. Good Luck everyone.

I just got my letter! I got an interview!!!

I just got mine as well! Yay!

The only thing is that I'm surprised its for the Traditional Program when I already have a bachelor's degree. I hope this is a good thing? Well regardless, I'm so relieved b/c I know they give preference to KSU students.

For those wondering, my stats are:

overall GPA: 3.4

Prerequisite GPA: 4.0

Science GPA: 4.0

TEAS V: 86.7%

I got mine today and got an interview for the accelerated program. I had a 91.3 TEAS score and a 3.2 overall GPA!

I got one for the traditional program (but I've been following this thread because you guys are more chatty! ) So excited! Does anyone know when we will schedule the interviews or how many they are interviewing versus actually accepting? Thanks for any info!
