Kennesaw State Fall 2013 Applicants

U.S.A. Georgia

Published

Just wondering if anyone out there is planning to apply to Kennesaw State for the Fall of 2013. I know the deadline is 3 months away, but I wanted to get a thread started for anyone interested in discussing the process as we go along!

@stoopkid: If I were in that position, I would start and then transfer if I got in to KSU-- like you're planning on doing. You gain one semester experience and it would be less money overall transferring vs. doing the bridge. Good luck to you!!!!!

Thank you bware9 :) @stoopkid: I agree with stephanie and molls4. If I were you, I would get as much education as soon as possible and then bridge later. Your stats seem great for the program but unfortunately, I've seen alot of girls on this thread have good stats and not even get an interview. I don't want to discourage you but I've heard the bridge program is a little less competitive. If you didn't have to wait so long to apply, I'd say wait for KSU. Good luck to you! :)

I got my letter today and I was accepted to the traditional program! Good luck to everyone and I can't wait to meet you in a few months!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I can't wait to hear about it when I see you next week :)

Nothing for me....

Hi Everyone!

I've been absent from the board for a few weeks, but I just want to express wishes of good luck to all of us waiting :) Please keep posting as letters are received. Unfortunately today is Sunday so no mail, but I'm sure we'll all be stalking this board and our mailmen the next few days!!

Thanks Paula! Please let me know as soon as you get your letter! hugs!

I guess I checked my mail too early yesterday. Today I got the letter informing me I haven't been accepted to the accelerated program. Best wishes to you all.

I'm so sorry. I hope you try again.

My undergrad (in bio) gpa was exactly 3.0 and right now I have 163 credit hours. Raising my GPA will take so long!! I will have to weigh other options as well. There are a few graduate school options for bio major to work in healthcare. I was really looking forward to becoming a nurse so ill see! Thanks :)

Have you considered an ADN to BSN?

Curiosity817, don't give up. When I had my mock interview the gentleman that interviewed me told me that everyone who was invited to interview was worthy of being in the program. He went on to say that the school wanted all of us, unfortunately there are only so many spaces available. If your dream is to become a nurse then keep perusing it! Good luck!

I'm so sorry, Curiosity... I hope you reapply!

You're absolutely correct. We all deserve to be in that program.
