Kennesaw Spring 2013 applicants

U.S.A. Georgia

It seems way early to be posting this, but the application deadline actually isn't too far away. Is anyone else applying to KSU for spring 2013 admission? I've requested to be considered for the traditional and accelerated programs. Took the TEAS this morning, but I'm still finishing this semester's prerequisites, so I don't know what GPA I'll be competing with yet. Would love to connect with anyone else who's applying!

Best of luck, all!

I emailed Sandi and she said your math and science grades are given the most weight. So I think everything can balance out in the end.
I emailed Fran this morning, hoping that maybe when Sandi said end of September she'd just slipped up a bit. Fran emailed back and said they'll send letters out by the end of August. Whew! One more month, folks!

Oh, I so hope we get our letters in a few weeks. Thanks everybody who has been emailing, calling, and asking the questions that is keeping the rest of us updated. I'm working on prerequisites at Ga Highlands so I have no interaction with KSU. Thanks again.

Hey everyone. I also applied for Spring 2013. The news about the letters coming so soon is very exciting. I just finished all my prerequisites. I am so glad that there is fewer applicants for the Spring, and that they will take more students to the program.

Hi to all of you,

I just want to know how you all prepared in the teas test? I took it before at it was hard for me and I socred really low. I just want to ask someone who can help me studying with the teas...I mean like a tutor and I am willing to pay per hour. I am really desperate to pass the teas and I am not going to give up. Anyway, english is my second language that is why the Reading section is always difficult for me. Thanks a lot. Take care!

Hey everyone!! I was wondering if anyone knew if they notified you by email (Kennesaw email) or if it would appear on owl express whether you were accepted or not before you got your letter in the mail. Trying to figure out if I should be stalking my email or the mail man :/ I know it probably will be a little bit longer before they notify us, but I still check almost everyday just in case. Good luck to everyone, I hope everyone gets in!!!

I'm pretty sure that on owl express there is a place to sign up for nursing interviews and if you are invited for an interview it will allow you to sign up. I had a friend that was accepted last semester and she found out she had gotten an interview through owl express a few days before she got the letter in the mail. I've already been checking, but no luck yet! Hope that helps! :)

It is too early to be looking for any letters, e-mails, and on owl express. I completely understand how you feel. I am looking and looking even though I know that it is too early. I applied for nursing program last semester, and I was able to register for an interview on owl express before the letter came. I didn't get into the program, so at the end I felt like all that waiting and stress was for nothing. Try to keep busy with something.

Is it possible that we might only have 2 more weeks to wait??? The wait is getting painful! Anyone taking Chem 1152 this fall?

I was told by the adviser that an average GPA of those accepted to the program is 3.5. I assume from the posts that TEAS should be at least 80% to have a chance to get in. It is not that bad right?

I tried to but they were all full by the time I was allowed to register. So I'm taking CHEM 1212, I have taken both CHEM 1151 and 1211 (it's a long story), but that means I will not have any organic chem going into nursing school, if I get into nursing school that is.

You should keep trying on registering for CHEM 1152. It is normal that people keep working on their schedule even now and space becomes available many times during the first week of classes. Don't give up on taking the right classes. You need the organic chemistry. It is a hard but interesting class. If you need any help with it I made an A and loved it.

I also had a problem getting into Chem 1152 and the only reason I finally got into the class is because I constantly checked to see if any seats were open. Just keep checking and hopefully you can get a seat! By the way, is there anyone taking A&P2 this fall?
