Just know that they will be watching u if they hire u. My job hired a nurse with DUI on her record and she was also hired at other places. Some hospitals like Grady Memorial will give u an opportunity. HTH!!If you have ever gotten a job in GA with a criminal history...please let me know looking for some inputs...

Hey when you got these jobs did your you offense show up on the background check and they still decided to hire you? And if you dont mind me askin, what did you get in trouble for? I only ask because I was offered a job already and was fingerprinted yesterday and I have one misdemeanor that has not been expunged yet (damn slow system). I guess Im just wanting to know if they asked you about your offenses or if they just ignored them? There were no questions on my job appilcation or throughout my new hire paperwork that allowed me to bring up my conviction so i did not disclose it to them? Any advise? - Jul 21, '12 by FaithfullyMeGood day,
That is GREAT!!!
Have you ever thought about applying for a Pardon (for felony criminal convictions) from the state that the incident happened in? That way, no matter where you do apply for a job, the past charges can not be held against you. Each state laws vary in this area but it's worth checking into. I took a few paralegal courses and received a paralegal certificate (I wanted to gain some knowledge about the law).
