Is anybody at GSU a pre-nursing major?

Trying to get a group together so we can help and support each other throughout this horribly stressful process!

I'm a junior at GSU, I am applying for the ACE Program starting in Spring 2013. I'm a double-major in Psychology.

Looking to maybe form a study group for the TEAS? I've also finished all of the prerequisites and would be happy to help those in need :)

Best of luck to you guys, I know GSU's program is insanely cut-throat. I'm a GSU pre-nursing student who's applying for Fall 2013, since the summer classes I needed to apply for Spring 2013 didn't work out.

the wait begins!

I hate this part:( hcs4291...are you taking any classes at GSU right now?

Yes, I'm a double-major so my schedule has always been pretty crazy!

yikes! I am taking Micro and SNHP 3000...was wondering if anyone was in my classes. Lots of people in my SNHP class are applying for spring or next fall. Did you find out why the TEAS scores took so long to post? At least you had them before the deadline!

Hi breezy7! I am thinking about applying the the ACE program for next fall...can you give me an idea of what your schedule is like? I saw on the website that you should plan on 80 plus hours every week...is that accurate? I have a 2 year old and I'm trying to decide if this would be a realistic path for me...I can't afford 5 days of day care! I already have a bachelors but I may have to go the ASN path! Any info you have would be appreciated! Thanks so much!

I am in SNHP 3000. Who do you have and what time do you take it?

I'm in traditional, which you might want to consider if you're concerned about daycare. I'm at school three days a week this semester for Patho, SNHP 3000, Concepts/Trends (mini-mester, so it's over already), and an online Stat class. The ACE students have all of the above plus Basic Skills clinical and a CTW, as far as I know. It's a LOT of work... many students have kids but have people at home to take care of them. Realistically, I think 80 hours + is pretty accurate. It's a tough but AMAZING program.

jenbrewington I have SNHP 3000 on Thursday with Carol Howell...anyone else?

I'm in her Tuesday class!

Looks like we are in the same class! LOL. It starts at 1, right?

Oh joy:) Have you finished your paper? I am struggling to fill 4 pages. Where do you sit? I sit on the door side towards the back.
