Has anyone heard back from Georgia Regents (most formerly Georgia Health Sciences U, previously MCG?)

I have a 3.0 and made a 91 on the TEAS.

Your TEAS score is awesome!

Specializes in None.

Thank you. I messed up my GPA not taking classes seriously during my early years.

I did the same. GRU has my GPA calculated at a 3.47 and 3.2 (Math and science) because early in my academic career I got a C in algebra. It is the one and only and I might be retaking it if I don't get in to a program this semester :) Hopefully our other attributes get us past it!

At least you have a great TEAS score to overcome any other pitfall you might have, right?!?!?

That's right. I think you'll be fine, too!

Thanks! I am very hopeful! Please post as soon as you hear anything and I will do the same. I hope to meet you in the fall :)

 I will definitely do so. I check my application status like clockwork.

Come on March 15th!

I agree! They have received about 354 applications at the moment. I want the cut off to hurry up! (I know that is not really nice to say. haha)

I have the same thought. I am optimistic about GRU, especially after the info session today. I am hoping this is my year :)

Hi everybody!!

I also applied for the program in Augusta for fall. My overall GPA is a 3.43 my TEAS is an 85 my math and science GPA is a 3.6. I'm still waiting on one of my references to submit their letter online! But I'm so nervous! And I'm ready to know already!!

I agree! The session was very helpful! I think they may have extended the deadline due to not having enough people apply before Feb 15th. Did you understand that they will be sending the acceptance letters out first and then the rejection ones? That is what I understood from what she was saying, but it wasn't clear.

Yes, basically they will send out acceptance letters and fill spots as they can, then once all the spots are filled they may send "alternates" letters and then rejection letters. (P.S. I hate the word "rejection") :/
