I am Jay one of the moderators of the GA Forum. I welcome everyone to this great site and this forum. This forum is for Nurses and Nursing students to talk about nursing issues related to GA Nursing. Please feel free to announce yourself in this thread.

I also ask that in doing so, if you have any questions please start a new thread with that question so that this can remain a roll call thread only.

i am lorie, live in nashville, ga work at south georgia medical center in valdosta. i work med/surg and will be returning to school in may to work on getting my rn.

Hey everyone I also live in a small town in south GA, Hazlehurst. I currently work in rehab/LT care. I'm looking to cross over to ER soon. I'm an RN and am taking classes thru Kaplan for Forensic Nurse. I hope to become certified as a SANE. Nice to meet you all.

I live in Columbus, GA (my husband is in the Army). I graduated in December 2006 and I have my RN...I'm working in MedSurg/Ortho and I'm enjoying it so far :)

Are you taking the lpn or rn course? I just called ATC to find out if they had satellite schools that offer either program I was told that they offer the program but you could only take it at the main campus in athens.

PLEASE ADVISE as i am desperatly trying to find a school. i live in the atlanta area

I work as Triage Nurse in Northeast GA for a large group of cardiologists, and live in the mountains. I was previously a CEN, and did occupational health, and was a volunteer Firefighter/First Responder.
