LPNs who were already enrolled as of a certain date can finish the program, but they must get extra hours in order to get the license. That is what it boils down to. Look up that thread. Actually LPNs who were enrolled before July 1,2008 can be licensed without any stipulations. LPN's enrolling after July 1,2008 must complete 350 precepted hours, Paramedics enrolled must complete 750 precepted hours. It looks like the biggest stipulation for LPN's is that you must have at least 3 years experience in an acute care setting aka hospital or you will be required to complete 750 precepted hours.
