So the application for the Fall 2015 BSN traditional/ ABSN/MSN has just opened up. I thought it may be nice to start a thread so any of the applicants can check on each others processes and get to know one another..

Dang, you guys started early! Barely started my app, just only have one letter of rec so far, since I took a CNA course and barely moved home at the end of May. But I still got some time. How is everyone doing on their apps?

I'm going to submit my app within two weeks. I wanted to make sure all my information was together and correct. Did you attend the open house this past Saturday? It was very informative.
Yeah that's good. No, I did not as I'm from California! Can you do a recap? :)

Hey everyone!
I'm applying to ABSN/MSN in the FNP track. I have been a little confused about application, are we supposed to do our app through NCAS? I e-mailed Emory and never got a response... I would also love to hear from people who have been to the info session about it, as I'm on the other side of the country.
Hey lumen! Haha. You don't have to do it through nursingCAS. Here's the link: How to Apply | Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing | Emory University Click on Emory Nursing.
I apologize...here is the recap:
They have added the 15 months ABSN program only. Fall-Spring-Summer-Fall. They spoke about the deadline for the applications. Its on the website. How much is tuition...where to apply for scholarships/regular financial aid...how your resume should look along with the volunteer, leadership, etc. information. We went to the skills lab which were very nice, listened to three seniors who talked about their life as a nursing student (very interesting) and the admission and financial aid session. It was very nice, detailed and straight to the point. Hopefully this will help you out. If you have any additional questions, if I have an answer, I will give it to you.
Ah thanks! Since it says it's okay to use NCAS, I think I'm just gonna stick with that, so I don't have to spend more money on transcripts since I already have transcripts going to NCAS for other programs. :)
Thanks for the recap SexyNurse79! :)
Did they elaborate about the resume and the resume format at the session? I have no publications, so I'm not sure what to do about that..

You can put as much or as little as you like on the resume, according to admissions. Volunteer work, awards or academic achievement, leadership and work experience, or anything else related that will aid them in their decision.

Dear all, i spoke to one of the admissions officers. She told me the GRE is not required for ABSN applicants who do not plan to do the MSN portion; however, the online website says that the GRE is required. Not sure... confused. I'll be applying thru CAS
