Clayton State University Fall 2014

U.S.A. Georgia

Published

Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone have applied to Clayton for fall 2014.:)

@Tjh05 Let me know what they say!! I've pretty much given up hope lol

I emailed my advisor as well. She said that the department is planning to pull some additional people from the waiting list and letters should go out sometime next week. So keep praying. You never know :)

Really!? That's great news. At least I won't pull my hair out wondering if and when anyone will be called from the waiting list. Thank you for letting us all know! Keep me posted on if you get accepted! :) good luck!

Hey guys, go and check your duck and see if you've been registered for the nursing classes. I didn't get my letter yet, but my major has been been changed to BSN and my advisor registered me for all the Nursing classes! Keeep me posted! :)

@christiangirl316 CONGRATS!!!! I just checked my DUCK and it changed to BSN and I have been registered for classes as well! OMG I am so excited! So I'm assuming we got taken off of the list?? YIPPIE!

Yippeeee!!!! I'm so happy for you! Congratulations to you as well!!! We should be getting our official letters sometime next week!! I hope to officially meet you at Orientation in August. :)

Do you know what day orientation is?? I am going on vacation July 26-August 2. @christiangirl316

I'm not sure yet, but I don't think it will be within that first week of August.

Congratulations to you both! I am SNA President and will be present at your New Student Orientation :-) if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Hello everyone accepted. Congratulations!

I'm considering applying for Spring 2015 even though I was accepted into an ADN program Fall 2014 at another school. Many nurses are encouraging me to go towards my BSN, rather than an ADN since I already have my BA degree. They seem to think I can get a job more easily with a BSN degree. Have you all heard anything differently?

1. Would you mind sharing your stats?

From what I've read on other threads, most people get in if their Teas scores are above 80 or closer to 83-85 and they have a good GPA.

2. For calculating overall GPA, are you calculating Areas A through F?

3. For math/science, did you calculate your GPA from Areas A, D, and F (classes listed below)?

- A2 College Algebra (MATH 1101 or 1111)

- D2 Statistics (MATH 1231)

- D1 Science sequence I (CHEM1151-1151L or 1211-1211L)

- D1 Science sequence II (CHEM1152-1152L or 1212-1212L)

- F1 Human Anatomy & Physiology I (BIOL1151-1151L)*

- F2 Human Anatomy & Physiology II (BIOL1152-1152L)*

- F3 Microbiology (BIOL2250-2250L or 3250-3250L)*

- F6 Pathophysiology (HLTH3201)*

4. Do you know Clayton States schedule?

Thanks.

Hey Lienbert! My stats: 3.29 gpa and 84.7 on the teas! For overall gpa, all of your classes are counted. For math and science gpa: areas A, D, and F are counted. What do you mean by Clayton States Schedule?

christiangirl316, sorry to respond so late. What I meant by schedule is:

How many days/hours are you in class?

How many days are you in lab?

What about sim lab?

Thanks for anything that you can share. I'm considering Clayton State for Fall 2015 since I would have to get a Pathophysiology class in.
