I was just wanting to see how my fellow students are doing with applying and having to wait till October to find out if we got accepted into the program starting Spring 2013.

How did everyone do on their TEAS?

Any questions or concerns?

Hi ladies I also applied for spring 2013 at north metro campus!! My program gpa is a 4.0 and I got a 77.3 on my teas! I hope I get accepted!! I had got accepted to the summer at the paulding campus but was unable to take it for many personal reason. Now things are better I hope my grades get me in again.

I know how you feel about having to turn down a seat. I had to turn down my nursing seat in 2009 when I first got a denial letter and we decided to move out of state for hubby's new job and then a week before our move they called to offer me a seat- lol. It was hard to say no. But here I am waiting on that darned letter again. Hahaha...

Are you also in our nutrition class this semester?

Thanks for welcoming to the group. No I already took all my classes so I'm actually sitting out this semester saving money in the event I get in I can pay for it!! I hope we all get in. I fell like 2013 is our year!! Yes is was disappointing turning down the seat but I know it was the best decision in the long run.

We should be finding out any day now... Like seriously... Any day... Please!!! Lol! Yeah I'm anxiety waiting for the danged letter!!!! That must be great to sit out the semester before nursing school starts. Although this nutrition class is interesting- it's pretty tough. How did you do in it? What campus did you take it at? We have mrs. Rawls and she is great!! She has a lot of fun stories for us....

Hello Ms. Reynolds, welcome to the group!!! I am pretty sure you will get in, best of luck to you!!!! Callie, test is pushed back another week, yaaaay! I was stressing over it, my son has been in and out of the hospital for the past few days so I have not had a chance to study, now I can!

Erica- The decided to keep the test to this week! I hope you get this soon so you know! So sorry! But it really was not that bad. I got a 96%!!!

Test is kept to this week, but class is cancelled!

I took my class at the paulding campus with ms berry woods and made a B in the class. I thought it was pretty hard as well and time consuming. Do you know exactly when we suppose to get the letters?

MsReynolds, no exact date just that we would receive letters by Nov 1st. Wish they could be more specific though. You could try calling. I did about 3 weeks ago but wasn't able to get someone that would actually know.

hey guys! sorry again for being so distant! Did yall hear we have a new teacher? weird huh? I hope she is still going to go back and do the grade analysis on our previous tests! I was kinda banking on that, push my 76%s up to Bs!! Hope -------- is ok :unsure:.

As far as I am aware its like 8am-3pm and we have a day off a week, like a Friday. But clinical can be anytime day or night... they will give us a clinical schedule when we get to that point. Hopefully your work is very flexible?! :up:

Oh okay thanks for the info. I didn't know we get any days off besides the weekend. And yes my job said they would work with me!! I hope I can handle both at the same time!!

It's not impossible! But it takes a strong willed person to do it!!! I'm grateful I don't have to work but I commend those that do!
