I was just wanting to see how my fellow students are doing with applying and having to wait till October to find out if we got accepted into the program starting Spring 2013. How did everyone do on their TEAS? Any questions... Read More

I was just wondering if we knew about how many were applying, I wish they would tell you that kind of stuff.

Oh yes it would be nice. I asked one of the nursing advisors but she said she didn't have the statistics.

I have no idea, but I wish I could find out. My friend who started in the summer 2012 program at Appalachian said there were 113 that applied to her program and out of 24 slots only 16 got filled, everyone else didn't even qualify.

Welcome Georgiagirl! That is a great GPA, you have the same as me!

The TEAS score is quite low... did they tell you that you can take it a second time before last semester was over?! You still qualify though! 54% was the lowest you could get, and I already told everyone else that I have a friend who only had 16 students qualify for the seats for Summer 2012 program when they should have had 24- OUT OF 113 students that applied! So as long as you have everything else done - you DEFINITELY still have a chance!!!

Georgiagirl18 I wouldn't even worry about it! You have above minimum for both and your GPA is wonderful. The good thing about the LPN program is you don't have to wait so dang long to reapply. Best wishes to you!

Thanks so much! I think the scores had to be in this month so I did not have time to retake the exam. I wish there was a way we knew how many were actually eligible!
