Acceptance letters from N Georgia (UNG) Fall 2013

I confirmed my spot at UNG Gainsville location last month. Has anyone started registering for courses yet or met with an adviser? Or do we do that after May 1st when we turn in our $200 deposit?

Talk to your advisor. I emailed the nursing dept. because they are registering for fall classes now. I was told that during the August meeting registration would be taken care of. I'm already a student at UNG so I'm not sure if it is the same with you.

I've decided to give up my spot. I got an acceptance letter yesterday for a school closer and my first choice. Good luck to those on the waiting list, I hope you get in.

If you are asking about registering for nursing courses .... the faculty will register you for those. Generally this is not done until closer to registration in August. Actually, I think it was done AFTER registration for us last year....which was a little frustrating because it also delayed mt financial aid, and I had to pay for my books out of pocket. Oh well, no worries, but if you need classes other than nursing courses - you will register for those yourself...and you can ask the registrar what date you can register. Hope that helps some.

I too have decided to give up my spot at UNG. I was accepted into my first choice, which for me is alot closer as well. Good luck to all on the waiting list! I know you will get into where you are suppose to....when you are suppose to (easy for me to say, right!). Just keep the faith, be patient, and know it WILL happen soon! :)
