.free Tuition In Georgia?

  1. someone told me that in the state of georgia, the state will pay for your tuition to any georgia school for nursing as long as that you agree to work somewhere in the state for like 1-3 years after graduation. this is kinda crazy, but i was wondering if it was true? i suppose it is to alleviate the shortage problems in the state, but is there any truth to this at all?

They have a service cancellable Stafford Loan available. You have to apply for it once you are enrolled in a nursing program. If you are granted the loan you will receive a $2500 per year loan. To pay off one year of the money you must work in the state full time and they will pay your loan. Hope this helps.
