If someone could pass along the pdf guide to me as well, it would be greatly appreciated as I take the test 6/11.
I was told by counselor to study the following:
Math, Reading, Vocabulary, Grammar,
Biology (general), Chemistry, Anatomy
& Physiology
Do _not_ study the physics portion.

i'd guess that it is not needed..but we can't really assume it since we really do not know what sections or questions that they are going to give us..

Nurse Re: HESI Admission Assessment Test for Nursing School
Hello,
If someone could send me the Hesi study guide in PDF format, I would love it. We are considering the HESI entrance test for our school. I would love to see the study guide.

Hi,
Here's the information:
Evolve Reach Admission Assessment Exam Review (Paperback)
Paperback: 160 pages
Publisher: Elsevier; 2 edition (March 17, 2008)
Language: English
ISBN-10: 1416056351
ISBN-13: 978-1416056355

Good luck, I remember stressing over this test and searching the boards for all the information I could get. As long as you read my post and study the information I pointed out then you will be fine. I forgot to mention also on the A & P section there was a couple of questions pertaining to the ear. My advise is to do the sections you are most comfortable with first this will boost your confidence. Use scratch paper while doing your math, this will avoid careless mistakes. Last but not least take your time especially during the reading portion.

Math/score 90%:This section was dead on with the study guide. As long as you go through the entire section, do all practice problems, memorize your conversion chart, roman numerals, military times, and how to set up porportions from a word problem you will be fine.

Vocabulary/score 75%: This section contained words straight from the vocabulary section of the book. Make sure you look over these.

Grammar/score 94%: The grammar section was basically a sentence and you have to choose the word that does not belong. Ex. My name are Kathy. The sentence should read My name is Kathy. The wrong word used is are.

Reading/score 93%: This section was a little tricky. Just take your time with this section, some of the answers seemed to be tricky. Always look back at the paragraph to confirm your answer.

Anatomy & Physiololy/score75%: In my opinion this section was nothing like the study guide! Some of the questions I knew and some I just guessed.

Hope this helps good luck.

I just took my assessment for Darton in Albany and my scores and thoughts of the test are almost spot on w/ this that it is scary.
