Grady Pay for New RN's

by rollie

Does anyone work at Grady? I was wondering how much they pay for new graduate nurses.

Thanks!

A girlfriend of mine just started working in their ER and she's a new grad. Her starting pay is 19 dollars and something cents an hour with benefits and 27/hr without benefits. She's taking the no benefits option of course!!

I have no idea about the pay, but I applied for a job at Atlanta Med Center and the pay was 20+/hr.
Maybe you can help me though. Did you get a job at Grady as a new Grad? Who were you talking with there, and how do you think I could go about getting a job there. I've applied for several with no interviews!
Thanks

Its far from ideal, but I've been out of work for 10 months and I need a job....any RN job...that will give me experience. Any ideas? And what do you mean by be careful?
Thanks

I agree don't sign any contracts and get ready to make about 1350.00 to 1450.00 per pay check. That's if you work nights.

O and did I mention that Grady offers very poor medical benefits. They want you to go to Grady for certain exams in order to have 100% fill coverage, and they tell you out wright that they can't guarantee you patient confidentiality. Dental is expensive and vision, what vision? Most nurses go to the pool and find work else were as soon as possible. Last little detail no OT in 95% of the departments.
