3.3 GPA acceptable for any GA schools?

I currently have a 3.37 gpa. I graduate in May w/ a BS in health studies from Michigan State. Hopefully by the time I graduate (I still have to take 10 credits in the summer) I can bring my GPA up to atleast a 3.5. I want to attend nursing school in GA because I'd love to live there. Can someone tell me how hard it is to get into ANY of their programs, ADN or BSN it doesnt matter. And could someone please let me know a little about the cost of living? I have 2 kids and Im not sure how much I'll be able to work if I actually got accepted to a school there. So I just want to make sure that the cost of living isnt outrageous. I just want to finish a nursing degree asap so that I can start providing for myself and my kids the way I want. Thanks...

Hi there! You could get into some programs with that GPA, I believe. I do know it is easier to get into nursing school outside of GA though so you may consider moving here when you are finished... The cost of living isn't too bad in GA. It certainly isn't like NY or CA. It is higher though than some of the states to the North of us like TN for instance.

I'm currently at Ga Baptist, and from what I can remember they wanted a 3.0 or above.. just pick a few schools and do research and call.. become best friends with the admissions office at the schools you really want to go to.
