YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS

  1. Final grade for med surg II: 92.67%. Grade needed for an A: 93%.

    YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS! NOOOOOOOOO!

    But for real...that is cruel.

Tell me your final results. Are you happy? Are you surprised? Anyway else get the middle finger like me?

You passed! It's a B+, not the end of nursing school, so be happy and congrats! We've seen worse on this board of late.

Damn that's a close cut, but seems you gave it your best. Better luck next time

That would hurt! In my program you would have gotten the A since they round to the whole number for final grades.

Oh dear. Well, congrats on the excellent grade. But yeah, that stings a bit, huh? Still, you did awesome!

    Thanks!

Fortunately my school does the + and - system. I'll take the A-, but it was so...close!

In my school, 92-94 is an A-, which I LOVED to get!

I never got one true A in any of my actual nursing classes. 95+... that's pretty tough!

Enjoy that A-! Wear it with pride!

I understand. Today was my final competency in med/surg I, scored a 94%, ended with a final grade of 91.91. No rounding in my program either. I needed a 92% for an A. It sucks, yes, but I am still happy with my grade

You've gotta admire the integrity and, honestly, Id likely be the same if I were a teacher. But, im not! So, give the girl the point! Sheesh. LOL You know - the concept of rounding was only crucial when I was a student, which was also the only time that the math rules never seemed to apply.
    How...odd. LOL

Keep up the good work!!! Trust me, your B+ will not keep you from getting scholarships, a job or passing the NCLEX. Neither will a 'C' here or there ( but that is another thread!).

Oh, you do have an 'A'! I thought you meant that you narrowly missed th 'A' and received a 'B'...which is grounds for a full-on conniption fit as far im concerned. LOL
