Specializes in Cath Lab, OR, CPHN/SN, ER.

Whoo! (Woot to quote Tweety!). So, I went to the job fair for new grads at the hospital today, and got two offers, one from Cardiac and one from the ED. I ended up taking the spot in the ED, because I've been interested in emergency services since I can remember (and I'll still get cardiac there). I will be working 11a-11p. How awesome are those hours!!! :balloons: So, yeah for Andrea!!! :balloons: -Andrea

It was advertised through my school, at the hospital where we do clinicals. It was a new grad job fair. -Andrea

Thank you! I have always been interested in working in an ED. I volunteered in one for about 4 years thru high school. Got my EMT cert a few years ago. I thought I bombed I interview with the ED people. First thing he said was "Tell me about yourself". So, I told him I was a libra. :chuckle I told him about my EMS/volunteer history. He asked me strengths and weaknesses (I hate that part!). Then he asked me what kind of shifts I would want to work, and he told me what was available. I realized today he was asking me what shift I wanted to work because I GOT IT! HA! I am so slow sometimes (I've had a headache the past two days, that might be it). -A
