Whoop! First clinical day today.

Assessment, vitals, and pt care. I was soooo nervous, but once I started carrying for my patient, chatting, charting, etc, it hit me: student or not, these folks are really trusting me, and I'm actually able to help them. This smokes classroom and lab and sims. C-diff poo and all. I know there will be tough days, but even though I'm tired, still smelling (Cdiff has a smell all it's own) and still have to write up a care plan NANDA etc before tomorrow, I now know it's worth it.
