Well, it's that time of year: FINALS!!

Here is what I have coming up:

Monday: Fundamentals HESI

Thursday: Physical assessment/exam final

Patho final

Today I finished organizing/making notecards for PAE. I started to take every patho notecard and take out the ones he said to focus on, but now I am so annoyed because I have completely lost my heart and lung cards---argh!!!

I CANNOT WAIT until Thursday after 5:00pm!!!!!:balloons:

As far as the fundamentals HESI, I'm not even sure HOW to study for it--I feel sick now lol.

Specializes in SDU, Tele, Hospice, Radiology, Education.

:icon_cheesygrin: ME, me, me!! I am supposed to be studying for my finals, but I just can't seem to concentrate! I have Adult Health tomorrow and an ATI one Tuesday. I really need to study!

Specializes in Case mgmt., rehab, (CRRN), LTC & psych.

-Growth & Development final tomorrow

Then I will take A&P, English 102, and Speech next semester! :D

Had my final clinical skills lab: head to toe assessment last Tuesday, 5th exam on Friday and will have comprehensive final on Wednesday 12/13/2006. Then I am finished for the semester! Already got a stack of non-nursing books to read over break and plans to do a massive cleaning of this place I call home!

Well back to studying, only 3 1/2 days left and I will be through fundamentals!WOOOOOHOOOO!!!

Me Too!!!! I have a Pharm final tomorrow and Fundamentals on Friday, and I can't bring myself to study. I have tried off and on all day and now here it is bedtime and I am fixing to start the coffee brewing and try to at least look over my notes one time before going to bed  . At least the pharm final is not comprehensive but it is still over 18 chapters. Good luck to everyone out there.:nuke:

well... i have my last final on Monday afternoon.. for my last nursing school semester. WOW! then I graduate Tuesday night. =) :clown:

now i'm off to study

Specializes in Psych ICU, addictions.

Med-Surg tomorrow. Then one whole month off!

Specializes in CVICU/ER.

Last week had an Assessment test, ATI, Objective paper, Reflection paper, Physical Exam and final skills validation.

Monday was Fundamentals final, Tuesday was Psychosocial communications and in about 8 hours...the class from hell, Assessment. I just want to get this done. I studied the better part of 2 days for this and feel decent about it. I am so happy that my wife was so instrumental in me getting through this semester (so far) and I can't wait to spend the better part of 3 weeks with my 3 year old boy. I missed him so much this semester.

Friday I start my job as a tech in the ICU. This semester sucked but if I can get through this, I think I can get through anything.

Good luck to everybody.

Well....I have one more final tomorrow (ethics). But unlike the previous four, I think it should be pretty easy.

My OB HESI:dncgbby: is done...

My Peds HESI AND final are over

And Geri is out of the way

So today, in celebration, I have pigged out...:BDCk:

had a little dance party in my room :clpty:

slept:onbch:

and lurked/posted on allnurses :typing

Clearly, taking all of these finals has caused me to go a little crazy :chuckle, which may explain why I'm enjoying these icons waaayyy too much.

Good luck to everyone with more finals!

One more week...

Tuesday I have Religion and Geriatrics, Wednesday Maternity, and Thursday Pediatrics!

Thank God I only have one more year!!!

Specializes in CDI Supervisor; Formerly NICU.

OB Hesi this past Tuesday, which I passed.

OB Final today (Wednesday, that is), which I passed.

It was touch and go this semester, and I got through by the skin of my teeth (or, the hair of my chinny-chin-chin, if you prefer), and I thank God that it's over.

Jan. 20, we begin 'Management of Client Care' and 'Adv. Concepts of Adult Health', which is advanced Med-surg, plus m/s clinicals.

April 15, we start a 160 hour Capstone (preceptorship), and I've already had people offer to precept me in both newborn nursery and NICU (the two places in which I have interest in working).

Time flies when you're killing yourself studying!

ATI Fundamentals exam yesterday- Scored at the highest proficiency level- YEAHHHH!!:yeah:(that gets 3 points added to my Fundamentals grade)

Tues- Calculations

Wed- Skills

Thurs- Fundamentals
