I have Mosby's. I bought it when I took A&P II. I found it totally worth it for my Patho class. It's been invalualbe to me.

I've had my taber's since I got accepted to NS at the end of spring semester but I had very little use of it then. Today, my first day of NS we were assigned some definitions to look up. so I get my handy dandy 20th ed taber's and found out that I'm missing about 60 pages for the letter T and that some entries for V & W were right smack were the missing T words should have been. Now I have duplicate pages for V and W and missing some T's, the page numbering are out of sequence as well. So annoying. Before you buy make sure that you have all the pages you need. I'd probably end up buying Mosby's or something.

I have both

Mosby's Medical Dictionary, Nursing, & Health Professional Dictionary- Mosby
Stedman's Medical Dictionary for Health Professionals- Stedman/Lipp

I used Stedman's during A&P and it was helpful and useful.

For NS we were required to buy Mosby's.
Mosby's has alot more terms than Stedman's! The downfall is it's freaking heavy. I dont carry it around. Stedmnan is much easier on the shoulders.
I'd say Mosby's hands down!
