I graduated 3 weeks ago, but this is what I did.

    1. Cried, so many conflicting emotions, relief that it is over yet sadness to lose the bubble of NS.
    2. Study, study, study for the NCLEX
    3. Take/pass the NCLEX (did the take part yesterday)
    4. Clean the house
    5. read a book for pleasure

    I plan to:

    1. Take the family back to DisneyWorld (if my youngest is 40 inches by then!)
    2. Gut and remodel my crappy, outdated kitchen and then move my master closet and gut and expand my crappy, outdated, tiny master bath! (My DH and I are self-proclaimed Do-it-ourself-ers!)
    3. Hire a housekeeper
    4. Get my hubby into a newer truck

WOW, this turned out to be a great conversation!

Took my last final today, first thing I did was hit the gym for a good 2 hour workout, been too long and I am feeling the burn. Plan on making it back on Wed.

Tonight is laundry night, the mountain is calling my name!! Finally going to catch this one thing up and feel good that I finally accomplished something. *whew*

Tommorow I am taking my entrance exam for the RN program (must be a glutton for punishment, LOL) then working in the evening. AFter that, just cleaning the house and studying for NCLEX for the rest of the week.

Start my new job as a grad nurse on Monday, I am SO excited!

    Keep them coming...and CONGRATS EVERYONE!!

Hey lori, i am soo confused. You said you're taking an entrance exam for an RN program... but then you are studying for the NCLEX, and then you say you will be starting a new job as a nurse. I am befuddled! Please clarify

For all of you that like to read, I have to read a 300 page book for ethics (not a text book). I just plain and simply HATE reading. Can some of you folks who LOVE to read, read this book and tell be all about it?

SW, we COULD...but can't you already tell that would be the wrong approach to take for an ETHICS course? Now, if you want us to find you cliff notes..maybe we could work on that....

Well, i graduated about a month ago, and its still sinking in, i received my transcripts a week ago and i have my appointment to register on wednesday (its different in Australia).
When i finished, i had hopes of doing celebration stuff, but some of my pals had to resit certain things so that didnt happen.
But a night of dancing and a few drinks did, which was good.
The best part was volunteering for a diabetic kids camp, made me feel like i was leading into something really worthwhile, and i had a blast.
Im planning on further study, however the dream job starts in January, so we will see how it all meshes.
P.S. The house still needs that spring clean, hehe!!!!
