Now is a really weird time for me in school. Now that we are so close to the end of the nursing program here the pressure is on BIG TIME. People are failing the pathophysiology theory exams left and... Read More

I have had a similiar situation happen this week. A couple of classmates really hurt my feelings after the last test. I have a culmative G.P.A. of 3.965, while working a full time job and raising a family. Never have I mentioned my grade on a test unless someone asked me. Never have I bragged about my grades to anybody!! I think people have a tendency to get jealous of people who do good in school. Just hang in there!! You did not go to school to please other people, and it is not your fault that you did well on the test and other people did not.

i agree with you all. ppl have been nasty to me for weeks now--well, most of them. it can get very cold and lonely sometimes, and if you do score lower than "some" ppl they are nice, but don't ever get a better score... i just believe that it shows their true character and how much they have to learn! i'm sure you agree that you all set personal goals for yourself, not based on someone else. so i'm in competition with the goal i set for myself--not my fellow classmates.
i have learnt this a long time ago: there is always someone smarter, better looking and skinnier than you...
i just want to do the best i can--and i do work my butt off for it. so when those ppl slack off...too bad.
and by the way, pharm math is not that hard! it's a basic formula, a couple things to remember as far as grains, drop factors etc. and you fill in numbers. a passing grade is possible. i just think ppl expect an easy ride all the time and want things handed to them.
the ones who care will be awsome nurses--and florence will be smiling from heaven

if i had the attitude of your classmates, i would have had no friends. sadly, i was near the bottom of my class. and believe me, i wasn't using them, but boy was i glad that some of my 'study buddies' were at the head of the class!!

Congratulations on your scores and you hard work. I am sorry that these people are so disappointing but "keep your eye on the prize". You have worked hard for this. Share your experience with the mature, grown ups in your class and let the others do what they may. True friends do not resent friends for succeeding. Take care of yourself and do what you need to get through the program.

    Take pride in your accomplishments!
