Midwife! But I'm not feeling up to more school, since I still have a long way to go before I'm an RN, so my other dream job would be a labor nurse in a midwife-run freestanding birth center.

NICU would be my ultimate! Second choice(and pretty close to equal) is Labor and Delivery then PICU/Peds. But NICU for sure!

I currently work in oncology as a tech and I float all over the place when I can. I absolutely love oncology!! Every unit I work on makes me love oncology more. Next summer after level two Im applying to MD Anderson in Houston for a 6 week internship. They do cancer research ect. I would love to be a research nurse or work in infusion and see the positive side of cancer treatment. I also love hospice but as the death toll rises on my unit it can be overwhelming some days. So not sure about the long term hospice nursing job, but its something I would love to try for a while.

Psychiatric NP or CRNA....won't know if I like psych or the ICU better until I get to experience them though

I used to be SURE I wanted to be a CRNA. Then I spent some time in the OR. While what they do is definitely important, it looked so boring. I think I would love learning it, but applying it, not so much. Starting epidurals would get old for me too.

I've never seen the appeal or understood why 90% of students on here want to be CRNAs. It looks so boring, I think I'd be miserable.

This is my dream, as well! I have just always been so interested in womens health, have been present at the births of all four nieces/nephews, and I just find it all so fascinating!

My dream job: antenatal, L&D, postpartum, high risk OB. You get the idea. I also love the idea of becoming a nursing instructor someday, or maybe a childbirth educator. You can see where my heart is.

I would be happy with wherever I end up, though!
