What is the real deal with lisa arend's notes

I am taking excelsior exams in microbiology and anatomy and physiology because my credits are outdated. I have seen a lot of internet posts about lisa arends' notes. Are these cd's really worthwhile? Generally most of the posts I have read are positive, but the negative reviews are really scathing! Any advice is truly appreciated.

Don't know a thing about Lisa Arend's notes.....other than it looks like someone figured out how to help pay for nursing school :-)

She has made a lot of money on these, I have heard pretty mixed reviews- but that I do not know anyone doing Excelsior, I am just hearing from students that have bought the CD thinking it would help

I don't have any personal experience with Lisa's notes, have heard mixed reviews. I have purchased 2 study guides from StudyGroup101 and like both of them well enough. Lots of info, well organized, several quizes, flash cards. It's written in a way I understand and seems to flow pretty logically. You can buy each one for about $10 or the whole nursing set for like $55 or $60. You can find both of them on their respective websites and on ebay as well...good luck either way you choose!!

They're okay. They cost around $10 and you get what you pay for.
