What does "LFT" stand for??

  1. Hello everyone!

I was hoping that one of you could help define an acronym for me. I'm working on a care plan, and can't find this one anywhere:

My pt. has "increased LFT's"...hhmmmm.... it's not in my Mosby's dictionary.

    Thanks!!!!

It means "Liver Function Tests". I'm on cholesterol lowering meds and have my LFT's checked every 3 months. Hope this helps.
