For clinicals, my school is all white. Thankfully it doesn't require the school logo so I will bleach all the icky stuff that might get on it.

For formal events, volunteering, and community health nursing, my school requires a white polo shirt with the school logo, and khaki or navy blue pants.

Solid white here, and a uniform top (collar and button up front). I remove the school patch from the sleeve when I want/need to bleach. I starch mine, though, and this helps prevent stains, so I don't bleach often =)

I actually think our uniforms look pretty sharp...

They're a whole lot of WHITE, White shoes, lab coat, scrubs, undershirt, underwear, Can't have no rings, necklaces, hair accessories, hair MUST be up, no long nails. Can't wait to graduate and get to wear colors, I've actually had a psych patient ask if I was an angel coming to take him to God. We get to wear a smidgen of green that's on our school badges.

I like ours, navy blue scrubs (v-neck top, with school patch--blue white & green--on shoulder), white shoes (all white), white socks. We can wear blue, black or white t-shirts or long sleeve shirts under out scrub top and/or a lab coat if it's cold.

We have cele (smurf) blue scrubs with our logo sewn in the tops in white on the right chest side, we have to wear white socks and white shoes (all white), we can wear white long sleeves under the top if it's cold and their is a cele blue long sleeve lab coat we can buy as well if it's cold. Nails must be short, neatly groomed and no polish or fake nails. One ring (either engagment of wedding ring) is allowed, one pair of studed earrings. Hair must be kept back.

I think that is it.

For our BSN program we wear all Landau-white v neck tops with the school logo (black and gold) with the white jacket, then for pants we have to wear the Landau brand cargo pants white or navy- why 2 different color bottoms? I don't know! All white shoes-no color at all. Hair off collar, no nails of any length. Beige undies under the white pants. Our director recommends buying the guys pants if you want more coverage. I have heard they are stronger and thicker. Kelli

I go to a community college with a VERY stuffy nursing department. We wear solid white! Even our shoes have to be solid white. We look very retarded and outdated! My sister-in-law just graduated from University of Louisville where their scrubs were black and red...totally cool!

Our uniforms are navy blue, top and bottom.
For our peds rotation we can where whatever scrubs we want.

Shoes are to be white, but as long as they're closed-toe and look clean the faculty doesn't pay much attention.

Umm...wow. I'm sorry. lol
Why would anyone insist on nurses wearing dresses? We work, and we work hard.
