Weekend scheduling during NS

    Just a question for all you nursing students-

    Does your program have alot of weekend requirements (clinical/lecture/whatever)? Or is clinical handled somewhere in between M-F? Just curious.

    We have nothing scheduled on the weekends...clinicals and coursework is all done during the week.

    All of our classes are scheduled during the weekday.

    Some clinicals are scheduled on the weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) and some are night shift from 7pm to 7am. It all depends on the luck of the draw, and they'll usually let you switch if you can find a classmate to switch with.

    I'm in my third semester (of 4) and this is the first time I have had a weekend clinical, which is on Saturday from 3-11pm.
