What lumen size and bulb size do you use for an adult female?

It depends upon the anatomy. The standard is #16 Fr., but if the pt. is tiny, a #12 may be a better choice. You have to evaluate and decide.

14 or 16 French with a 5/10cc bulb.

At the hospital where I do clinicals, the female cath kits come with a 14 French catheter. There are also smaller pediatric kits available.
