To get everyone's mind off of nursing for a minute...

Our university has a banquet night every semester and it is a big thing for everyone on campus to attend. Our nursing department has a lot of older students, so not a lot of our nursing students are active in campus life.

There is this one girl in my nursing program that has been a wonderful friend of mine this year and she just went through a horrible breakup with her last boyfriend. I was wanting to ask her to banquet for the fun of it!

Here is where you come in... Everyone on campus gets creative and asks someone in a funny way (not too serious). How should I ask this person to banquet in a funny way that involves nursing?

Send her an "nurses notes" - outlining your assessment findings, actions/interventions & goal. The intervention, of course, is going to the banquet having fun and goal is relaxation and decrease in stress level. You could format it in a SOAPIE note or whatever your school uses.
