It's fun! I am also a member of the NSNA and am also on the board of our colleges SNA! We do the above mentioned activities as well. I have so much fun being part of it!

One of our officers graduating next month, had an interview and the person mentioned she was very impressed with the fact that she was SNA officer. We don't have dues at the school level, I think we would have less participation if we did. The networking is a huge bonus!!

I am a newly "elected" Sna Vice President at my school. (Read: no one else wanted the job!). Ours is just state level and a school club, but we are working to get enough board members to be recognized by the national sna. It's like pulling teeth though! Everyone is so busy, they don't want to be involved. I don't work, but I do have 8 kids- so...it's not that tough to put in a couple more hours a month! I'm hoping it helps get scholarships too.
