There is an interview before they let you know if you're excepted. However, I don't think they interview people they don't plan to accept because in my interview, I was asked a few questions but it didn't feel like it was really an interview. I was infromed a lot about how my classes would be and how intense the program was. There was no indication that I was accepted at the time but I was accepted hours later. Good luck!

Unhappy Re: Thomas Jefferson University ASN-BSN Fall 2009
Hi. This is actually my first post and I had a quick question concerning my NET scores. When i went to take the NETs, the instructor told us we needed at least a 70 in reading and math separately to be considered for admissions into jefferson. In a pamphlet I read, it stated there is no minimum score for the NET however scores of 70 or higher are competitive, also I'm unsure if they mean 70 by composite score or separetly. I scored a 93 on my math section but a 58 on my reading section. composite score of 76%. I'm really scared that my reading score will cause me to not be considered but I have nothing to compare it to with all of this information that contradicts eachother. Any information would be fantastic. Thanks guys and girls!

They will choose the students with the better scores. There are hundreds of students with really good G.P.A's and NET test scores so that's why they say you need to have at least a 70 (IN BOTH MATH AND READING) in order to compete with those other students.

Yeah, when I took the net on the 14th the girl giving the test basically said it doesn't matter if you score really high in one section and do bad in the other, they want at least a 70 in math and at least a 70 in reading to be considered. If you score below a 70 in one section you should take the test again. However, you can always call the school to clarify this. I've called them a few times to ask questions and they always seem very nice and helpful. Does anyone know if the class is full yet or how many students they accept all together? I finally got my NET scores in the mail today, so I'm still waiting to hear whether I got in or not.

I reread this just to make sure it didn't sound contradictory. Am I the only one who thinks it still does?

Basically they accept students until the class is full. Our orientation is next week so my advice would be to get all your info together and get ready to apply right after the semester begins. Good luck!
