Is there an RN-BSN online school that doesn't require current RN license

I'm about to go through the application process to sit for the NCLEX-RN, but I was wondering during the meantime, is there a school out there that will allow me to sign up without a current RN license yet? Just as a Graduate Nurse? There was one school I looked into which allowed you enroll but you must take the NCLEX within 6 months and if you were to fail, they would dis-enroll you. I'm not willing to shell out money and take my chances in case I do fail.

Any schools that anyone knows about that will allow this?

I don't think you'll find a school, because if it's an RN-to-BSN program, you must BE an RN first.

I've never heard of one. THere's a reason they're called "RN to BSN" programs ... Some even require you to have some prescribed amount of RN experience (one year, two years) in order to be eligible, beyond just being licensed.

I don't know of any. I am taking this time between graduation and being licensed as time to take my co-req's for the rn-bsn program. Then as soon as I get licensed I will start taking nursing classes.

I was able to apply to Western Carolina's program before graduating and was accepted on the condition that I passed the NCLEX before classes started.

You can get into programs on the contingency that you get your RN, however if it takes you 3 years to get your RN after graduation then you will wait as long to start the classes.

I think it has to do with their accrediation.

Dear gawd in heaven, I hope not.

If you want a BSN without having obtained an RN first, that's called a BSN program, it takes four years, and you go to college for it.

Wow, she is talking about entering a program while she is waiting to take her NCLEX not skipping the ADN portion.
