Why do they have to make the questions so hard on exams? I spend more time during exams trying to figure out what they are asking. Any suggestions on test taking skills?

Test for Success - great book. Really breaks down the parts of the questions and tricks for figuring out what they are actually asking.
Get a practice book or an ipod app or check out the online resources for your textbooks. Do as many NCLEX style questions as you can. Practice really does make you better.
